The CHF Autumn Concert, at Lamport Hall
7th November, 6.30-9.30pm

An evening of beautiful music by Bach, Liszt and Debussy, played by the young Italian concert pianist, Giacomo Tora, performing at Lamport Hall in the magnificent High Room, dating from 1655. Giacomo recently gained international attention with his debut album “Hommage à BACH”.

Indeed, it received praise from The Daily Telegraph music critic who described the album as “richly subtle and delicately surprising”.Resident in London, Giacomo balances his notable career between performing at prestigious concert halls, such as the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London and other famous venues in Europe and in the USA, teaching at the London Piano Centre and recording new work. One journalist said of Giacomo that he “equally harmoniously and insightfully represents the Baroque era, the Romantics and the Modernists in his playing”.

The Counties Heritage Foundation is very delighted that Giacomo’s musical journey brings him to Lamport Hall on 7th November. A drinks reception welcomed us at 6.30pm in the candle-lit Oak Room, warmed by a roaring log fire on this autumnal evening, before the concert began at 7pm.

65 places were filled.
