November 1st 6–9 pm At beautiful Lamport Hall, Northamptonshire, NN6 9HD. A magical evening piano recital by the internationally renowned Georgian pianist, Ana Gogava.
A memorable evening of exquisite music in beautiful surroundings. Each year, since its foundation four years ago, the Counties Heritage Foundation charity has held an evening candlelit concert at the beautiful Lamport Hall to highlight a rising star concert performer.
This year, the charity's concert featured the renowned young pianist from Tbilisi, Georgia, Ana Gogava.
The programme for the Lamport Hall Concert revealed the notable natural lyricism in her playing. A Mozart Sonata followed by an Étude by Rachmaninoff and a Chopin Ballade. After the interval came a Beethoven Sonata, a Chopin waltz, with a finale - Ginastera - Danzas / Argentinas
Ana has a special personal relationship with the piano as an instrument. She plays 'with' the piano and not on it, giving the music, which she plays from memory, an exquisite quality to the listener.
The Concert was a sell out and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
