CHF/LHPT BURSARY EVENT
Afternoon event at Lamport Hall, NN6 9EZ
18th September. 2.30pm -5pm.
Attendees enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the historic, Grade1 Listed, Lamport Hall giving an opportunity to wander around its fine rooms Listen to a fascinating talk by the Conservator, Caroline Bendix, about conserving and repairing rare books, with some illustrations from the Hall’s impressive 16th century volumes. Afterwards witness the success of two MA University of Lincoln conservation students with the presentation of their CHF/LHPT Bursary certificates.

These certificates commemorate their bursary work-experience placements at the internationally recognised National Trust conservation studio at Knole in Kent, and its textile conservation studio at Oulton Street in Norfolk. Tea and delicious cakes rounded off this very special afternoon event. Representatives from the University of Lincoln, The National Trust and the two charities , The Counties Heritage Foundation and the Lamport Hall Preservation Trust, were present.
